On Saturday, June 23, 2018, at 10:00 am, the University of Zakho hosted "Kurmanji 62nd Workshop" which is associated with Kurdish Institute in Paris. At the beginning, Vice President of the University for Students Affairs and member of "Groupe Komkhabat", Dr. Abdulwahab Kh. Mousa, delivered a welcoming speech. In his speech, he warmly welcomed members of the group and expressed the universitys support to the activity of the group.
"Groupe Komkhabata Kurmanji" held its first and second meetings in Barcelona- Catalonia, and then worked in different areas including language and the terminology of language. It is worth mentioning that this group consists of (20 to 30) members with Mr. Rasho Zilan as head of the group. This group holds two meetings annually. In addition, this is the second time that the university hosts such an activity, providing the group with necessary needs. At the end, it is worthwhile to note that this meeting will last for seven days( from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm) and it will take place at the hall of Training and Development Center at the university.
